Full-Time 310T/J Mechanic

Our fast-paced truck and trailer repair shop in London, ON, is looking for experienced 310T/J Mechanics to join our team. We specialize in fleet maintenance, structural repairs for trucks and trailers, welding, hydraulic liftgate installations, and serve as a warranty facility for truck body manufacturers and liftgates.
Salary:
$35-$40 per hour
Hours/Shifts:
- 2 Shifts available
- Monday-Friday 9 or 10 hour shift
- Occasional Weekends
- Overtime pay (Time and a half after 44 hours a week)
- Day Shift 7am – 5pm
- Afternoon Shift 10am – 8pm
Experience Requirements:
- Valid Class G Driver’s License
- Two years of verifiable mechanic experience
- Aluminum & Steel Welding an asset
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of liftgates would be considered an asset
Education:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach License
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues or problems, providing technical expertise.
- Monitor and teach apprentices
- Complete any job that may enter the shop but not limited to: Structural Repairs, Rewiring, Oil changes, Trailer door repairs, Liftgate repairs & installations, Annual inspections through DriveOn, etc.
- Verify that all parts used are put on the workorder
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and clean working environment
